About & Methodology

The Qdoba Nutrition Calculator is a free, no-sign-up tool for building your exact Qdoba order and seeing its nutrition in real time. It exists because the way people actually eat at Qdoba — a bowl here, a double-protein burrito there — rarely matches a fixed menu listing.

How the calculator works

  1. Each ingredient stores its own nutrition (calories, fat, saturated fat, carbs, fiber, sugar, protein, sodium).
  2. As you toggle items on the Builder, the tool sums those values for your selections.
  3. Proteins can be single or double portions; single-select stations (style, rice, beans) swap automatically.
  4. Percent Daily Values use the FDA 2,000-calorie reference. Diet flags update from each item’s tags.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate are these numbers?+

The build-your-own components use values transcribed directly from Qdoba’s official 2025 Nutrition Facts guide for their standard portions (e.g. 3.5 oz proteins, 4 oz rice/beans, 1 oz salsas). A few items not listed in that guide — and the estimated signature/kids/side entries in the database — are marked “est.” Because meals are hand-built to order, real totals still vary with scoop size, location and preparation.

Why build ingredient-by-ingredient instead of listing fixed menu items?+

Almost nobody orders the menu exactly as pictured. By summing individual components, the calculator matches YOUR order — double steak, no rice, extra guac — instead of a generic entrée. Every total is transparently the sum of what you picked.

What counts as keto or low-carb here?+

Skip the rice, beans, tortilla and corn salsa. A bowl or salad with a protein, cheese, guac, sour cream and fresh salsas typically lands under ~15g net carbs. Use the Carbs and Fiber figures in the summary to check net carbs (carbs − fiber).

How do I hit a high-protein, lower-calorie target?+

Start with a bowl or salad, add double grilled chicken (54g protein, ~340 cal), black or pinto beans for extra protein and fiber, and load up on free salsas and veggies. Skip queso, sour cream and chips to keep calories down.

Can I save or share my build?+

Yes. Your selections are encoded in the page URL automatically — bookmark it or hit “Share” to copy the link. You can also hit “Save meal” to store it in your browser and compare several meals side by side on the Saved & Compare page.

How does the nutrition score work?+

It’s a 0–100 rating that rewards protein density and fiber and subtracts points for high sodium, saturated fat, added sugar and very high calorie counts. It’s a quick relative guide (Excellent / Balanced / Moderate / Indulgent), not a medical measure.

What’s the difference between the Builder and the Menu Database?+

The Builder sums individual ingredients into your exact custom order. The Menu Database is a searchable, sortable list of every item — signature entrées, kids meals, sides, desserts and beverages — so you can look up any single item’s nutrition fast.

Are drinks and desserts included?+

Yes. The Menu Database includes fountain drinks (in Small/Medium/Large), bottled beverages, desserts and sides in addition to the build-your-own components — over 150 entries in total.

Do you store my saved meals on a server?+

No. Saved meals live only in your browser’s local storage on this device. There are no accounts and nothing is uploaded. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Is this an official Qdoba tool?+

No. This is an independent, fan-made calculator for convenience. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Qdoba. Always check Qdoba’s official nutrition information and allergen guidance if you have medical or allergy concerns.
